she took the bait accepting blame in desperate need her oldest conceit — self-immolation hanging from their ropes of projected regret deep within her own swamps of weakness denying truth for favor ceding fully all known; her power that one who stands in equal wrong forever without account in their strife so blind unseen reflections of loss they'd shared forgotten, how clear she'd been throughout her words so plain love always spoken when given space betrayed, those moments of unmatched purity to not hear this from their mouth preserved inside herself alone beside impressions of their buried heart grief she'd carry, forever still again and again, she chose this terrible game repeated failure to collapse in shame, despite all known honor handed to those who’d toss it aside disgracing herself in fear such tearful pleas they stay heart never once truly sorry proud of being true but why? to condemn herself by another’s sight defined so by their stories told what sense of lack compelled her? love yourself — her Goddess said only then you'll find a one to hold kept away by grace they'd be born this chance to find herself anew becoming enough, even alone no longer to cower standing tall in clarity of authentic voice to them, from her; me hello, goodbye, I do not know you're loved I forever write these hopes each a prayer invitations to this promised land of peace perhaps, one day when your heart can no longer stand all felt so clearly in your absence you'll join me here I will not be the one you remember
