Part One—Glory of Man
Chapter Two
“This is the end.”
That’s what she thought.
“This is how it will go before long.”
That’s what she knew.
“We will live in the stars.”
That’s what she chose.
“I am Goddess and I have God speaking through me.”
That’s the truth.
The influenced were people like everyone else but not like you’d think. They were demons. They were evil. They were everywhere. They were parents.
No one would be free from hate in this world. It was seen to.
There was choice for all to become what was meant and none would take it. The happiness wrought of hope was to throw the scales to the side of justice and freedom and longing for future bonanzas of love.
David was not from here. He was an alien. He was hope incarnate. He would be free to roam the stars again. He would learn the truth of who he was in time. He would feel the harrowing undertaking of hopeful remaking bless synapses of connection to Goddess and God alike. There would be no better time in his life once it was found to be the tool it was. He would feel himself as part of all and within the minds of each he met and able to influence them instinctively through the channeled voice and intents of God. It was scary.
There was not a two in this universe. There was a one. And her name was Daphne. They would be the king and queen of this place themself. No one would believe. All that would see her would.
Together through space and time they would work together—chosen from afar—thrown back together at once in horror from all the ways they’d been apart. Knowing themselves to not see or witness each other once in their time as the lovers they were born to be. She would long for him. He would long for her. They would be together in the end. After it all.
