To say I miss you feels so queer understatement of the year too many things I question now such despair—I'll take a bow the things which I do wonder most have to do with what’s been lost questions about things we’d said plans we’d made within our heads moments shared that stand in time which burn so brightly in my mind remember every single one each precious little setting sun plans and hopes and dreams to be projected that together we could make our stories one day bloom we'd write, we'd film, I'd visit you connect with folks across the land tell their stories, make a stand for all that’s right amongst the mess this world so bent upon distress see and find, create and share together we could be right there empowering each other’s flow steady presence, one who knows innately more of who we are than anyone from near or far uplifting to help us create books we write, change we make those dreams of doing with you near they are the ones my heart holds dear among them is one special time a night in which you were just mine an evening wondered if for you secretly still cherished too where things were said and acts were done betrayed a sense that more was known do you remember that one night? a moment passed, more yours than mine you said right there you’d never felt so close to me, it made me melt it didn’t help we’d listened to an album where I’d thought of you before we'd even shared that space that powerful cosmic embrace wonderings did plague my head perhaps you knew more than you said that night where I was so possessed it seemed you felt it in your chest that lines were crossed, and not just yours together we had gone too far even still, with all the pain I’m glad it happened just that way such a very special night even if a fleeting sight brought me right back to my heart empowered me to make this art even now amongst your hate hope remains some future date you'll remember all we’d planned and come back to a dear old friend not how I want, but your own way know I’ll be here 'til that day
