to be a brokenhearted mess, lost amongst so much distress to be the fool who wanders fraught, pleading to be all they’re not a hope, a prayer, a cry, a scream — they know not what they really mean just want a friend, I think that’s all, something that's in fact quite small yet, so hard in some strange way, no one wants to come and play take her back to times gone past, a child through the looking glass being free to laugh and cry, finally seen through someone's eyes taking stock of what is owed, to herself and those in tow forgiving free herself throughout, this carousel’s spin about knowing that when times are through, she'll once again be with you released at once, all despair, letting go of guilt we bear bring it in hon, over here, I'm so at home when you're near nowhere else is it like that, feelings shared I have no doubt
