Forgiveness Is A Lie
people get the biggest thing wrong
You don’t forgive things that people have done which killed a part of yourself. You don’t let people off when they’ve stolen years of your life or damaged your mind and body. You don’t release all grasp of claim towards responsibility yourself. All are accountable. Those who do not take it are unrighteous. Those who own everything they’ve done are holy.
To ask forgiveness for the unforgiveable is a fool’s errand. To expect apologies for the unforgiveable twice fold.
Abandoning people and creating parallel dichotomies of victim and abuser is not the answer unless we make it so by force of action. It takes two to heal. Healing is the correction of what we seek to forgive and forget. The answer is atonement we remember.
