Ghost in the Heart of the Girl

There was a ghost inside this girl

a darkness to the soul of town

monsters behind its castle walls

hope buried deep beneath the ground



Blinded by the haze of fear

scorched inside by flames of hate

forever drowning in their blood

truth ever just behind the veil



Now a specter in the blur

remembered solely by the heart

yet without the means to feel

the blame upon herself alone
