this pale ghost
a poem
oh my god, hon, what a ride eye bags for years, I’ve had to hide I'm ready now to settle in cuddle cozy cutie's chin she loved me once, she loved me thrice all she'd lost were blindest mice selling heart for packs of dimes she felt the itch then made such crimes and so you hide, some back beyond whatever’s truly going on what I wish: I wish you knew you split a precious heart in two those strongest hands, you were a God with just a word, without a nod doubt and fear had cut to shreds that fearless goddess reborn red the blood; a boy who died in chains allowing fear to leave their brains you killed that boy, you know you did he asked for it, got what was his the woman left, she's broken down everyone just sees a clown she's holy in some strangest sense life brought to focus forth and hence I wonder if you hear my songs? have you been peaking all along? rock and sea made shore to stay will you come back? can we go play? this shattered doll; my pale ghost it's now I find I love you most
