Didn't expect this take on the human condition to be so brutally honest and self-aware, it truly makes you question the deeper algorithms of our current struggles. I'm curious how this intense self-reflection connects to your previous article on finding authenticity in a world of curated experiences; it's a fasinating narrative arc you're building.
Thank you! The unique delivery of this one just flowed out of me, and it was a fun journey to see how deep and cutting I could make it. It was bled straight from my subconscious and some of it surprised me but felt right. Some if the ‘I know that,’ lines in particular. I was like, “do they?’ Also the line about hate slur wielding people subconsciously loving their targets for the challenge they will refuse to meet. I write stuff like this when I’m angry at people but try to go hard at myself as well and that’s where the insight really comes from—I love/hate playing Sherlock on the workings of people and how it lets others down so I can do better and hopefully rattle some people awake in the process.
