MY HEALING DREAM
Someone who owes me a hug does that. They let me cry those tears which I know will come really ugly and hard until I’m not a lie of dysfunction.
They tell me they're sorry. They let me know they care about me.
(they never did)
They tell me specifically that they’re going to make sure I never need to beg or demand help again, nor struggle against my mind to make people understand I'm not a bad person.
The last part could come from anyone. Hugs help regardless.
